Terms of Service
Last updated: July 14, 2026
These terms govern your use of Turgor Cloud, the hosted version of Turgor. By creating an organization or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
Turgor Cloud is a hosted workstream-accountability tool: organizations track workstreams, deliverables, weekly check-ins, and action items, and see which workstreams need attention. The underlying product is open source; Turgor Cloud adds managed hosting and updates.
Your account and organization
You are responsible for activity under your account and for the members you invite to your organization. Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for the content your team puts into Turgor and for having the right to use it.
Acceptable use
Do not use Turgor to break the law, infringe others' rights, or disrupt the service or other tenants. We may suspend organizations that do.
Plans and billing
Turgor Cloud offers a free plan and a paid plan (Pro). Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe, and new subscriptions include a 14-day trial. You can manage your payment method, invoices, and cancellation at any time from the Stripe customer portal in your billing settings.
If you cancel or a payment lapses, your organization returns to the free plan. Your data is retained; you simply return to the free plan's limits on creating new workstreams and members. See our pricing page for current plan details.
Open source
Turgor's core is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). You are free to self-host it under the terms of that license. These terms cover the hosted Turgor Cloud service, not your own self-hosted deployment.
Availability
Turgor Cloud is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep it running reliably but do not offer a formal uptime guarantee, and we may change, add, or discontinue features over time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Turgor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service. The service is a workstream-tracking tool, not a system of record for legal, financial, or safety-critical purposes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and communicate material changes in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
